Reading to Dogs Program at the South High Branch

The South High Branch recently hosted Central Ohio Good Shepherds, a therapy dog program that encourages reluctant readers to read aloud. COGS Founder Angie Jones says, “Reading to dogs takes the pressure of reading off the children because they are focused on the dogs.” Kids learn valuable reading skills without even knowing it, and they earn credit toward their 12-hour SRC goal.
